I am so excited about this giveaway with Yosi Samra! Yosi Samra has become my new favorite flats brand.. they are sold at ShopBop and Piperlime and lots of my other favorite shops! How cute are these tweed and neon ones found here?! I am dying to have them. And they are soo comfortable- I had no ‘breaking in’ process which is thee worst. Also, they are foldable so I fold them and throw them in my purse on days I wear heels to work in case I need to do a switch out.

Fashion Week Diary 2

These photos were taken after we went to the Marissa Webb preview for her Fall 2013 line.. and it was amazing. Marissa worked with J Crew for 10 years and was Head of Womenswear and Accessories Design – she is so talented. Her clothes are very feminine and sophisticated but with more edge – leather and other fun touches that I love. I interviewed her last season and she was so unbelievably sweet to not only me but everyone- she is such a sweet woman and we have stayed in contact since and it was so fun to see her. She is going to do amazing things.

Sunny Days & Winner

So remember my cozy winter post in the ombre sweater? Yeah that day it was freezing.. wake up the next day to this beautiful sunshine. It was the most amazing day. In the house I am living in right now there are all these apple trees and hammocks and swings in the backyard.. its the most amazing backyard ever.. so I just sat in the swing and watched all these deer play in the backyard for hours. It was a perfect day. Well, it would have been way more perfect if my fiance wasn’t in Colorado and was swingin with me.. but sometimes its good to have days just hanging out by yourself and still having fun. Plus David thinks that deer look like oversized rats… wtf? I think they are beautiful and could watch them all day long! Its okay though we still love him. 🙂

What is everyone doing for Halloween tonight? We have no idea what we are doing yet but we do know that we are dressing as Westley and Buttercup from Princess Bride! David looks just like Westley when he is dressed up its uncanny. Ill show you guys pics later.

Lots of Stuff

Okay I am back! Moving is so crazy.. you realize how much stuff (and crap) you have! My boyfriend was helping me move and as he was moving all the boxes in and whatnot he said, “almost all these boxes are filled with things that somehow go on your body” haha just boxes filled with creams, lotions, hair product, purses, shoes, clothes, it was kind of a little bit ridiculous! I got rid of sooo much and still felt like I just had way too much. (but I also had boxes of books, crafts, canvases, and hobby things too of course 🙂 )

Anyways, I don’t know if you guys have heard of heyheygorgeous.com (click on the link ‘hooked’ in top right corner to see some awesome hair posts)… but they invited me to New York Fashion week with them! I will be the host aka interviewing all the designers, make up artists, hair stylists, and models! I am soo excited. This is a life long dream for me just to be at fashion week. I am super excited for a few specific designers I will be interviewing, but you’ll have to stay tuned to see who they are 🙂 

I will post links on my blog of all my interviews and I am really hoping to interview some of my favorite high fashion models also… crossing my fingers for Daphne! I will also be doing lots of outfit posts and since I will be backstage and attending the shows I will of course take pictures and share those with you all!
